PROS & cons of cordless irons for quilters

After getting tired of corded irons, I finally opted for two cordless irons, and they're game changers!

While cordless irons aren't 100% cordless--they still have a base that plugs in--you can get a few minutes of heat from the iron WITHOUT having to worry about the cord getting in the way.

Some cordless irons like my Panasonic cordless are double-tipped, which is just plain fun to press quilt fabric in both directions with.

However, they're usually a little smaller than standard-size irons and don't hold as much water.

They're much bigger than mini-irons, but they're still lightweight and portable.

You can get them in multiple types of soleplates, too, which is great if you have a strong preference!
