the 5 Fabric Cutters I Own and Love

I LOVE using my fabric cutters to create perfect applique shapes and quilt pieces.  Less time spent cutting fabric means more time sewing!

Here are 5 fabric cutters that I use, love, and recommend for your craft room!

1. AccuQuilt Go!

The AccuQuilt is my favorite for quilting. It's fast, easy, and there are so many dies!

2. Cricut Maker

In addition to fabric, I've cut balsa wood, acrylic, thin metal, vinyl, iron-on vinyl, and even craft foam with my Cricut Maker.

3. Sizzix Big Shot Plus

While I use my Sizzix most for embossing and cutting cardstock, it has an adapter so you can use AccuQuilt dies on it to cut fabric. It also uses Sizzix fabric cutting dies.

4. Brother ScanNCut SDX

The DX versions can use the rotary blade, which makes cutting fabric easy. Quilt block patterns are also built in to many SDX machines.

5. Silhouette Cameo 4

I really like Silhouette Studio software, and the Cameo 4 can also use a rotary blade for fabric without backing.
