Embroidery Applique With iron-on vinyl

Some heat transfer vinyl types (aka iron-on vinyl that you can use with cutting machines like a Cricut or Silhouette) can also be used in machine embroidery

It's so convenient that you don't have to pre-cut HTV like you would other applique fabric--just tear after embroidering the border satin stitch.

I just stitched DIME's Wicked Wonder embroidery design to show you how to use HTV in embroidery, so follow along!

1. Stitch Applique Placement Line

2. Put Iron-On Vinyl On Top

3. Stitch Tacking Stitch and Border Stitch

4. Tear HTV Off Carefully

6. Repeat Layers
