Quilting With an Embroidery Machine

My poor feet and back can't handle using a long-arm machine, so I love that I can add continuous quilting with my embroidery machine while sitting!

Here's a preview of how to embroider quilts in the hoop!

1. Consider a magnetic hoop.

I love my DIME magnetic hoops and the magnet hoops that came with my Brother machine.

2. Layer your quilt.

Make a quilt sandwich with the backing, batting, and top.

3. Hoop the first section.

Some embroiderers prefer top left while others begin closer to the middle.

4. Load hoop and prepare.

Eliminate drag and arrange excess fabric appropriately.

5. Start Quilting!
